MEGAL cash trays and drawers are solutions designed for the secure transfer of cash, documents, and small items between the customer and the staff. They are used in facilities with elevated security requirements, such as currency exchanges, banks, fuel stations, public offices, pawnshops, and border checkpoints. Depending on the model, these cash trays can be equipped with a sliding protective cover that includes a lock on the cashier’s side.

Drawer-type transfer trays mounted directly into a wall (e.g., under or beside a cashier window) offer a wide range of applications. This cash drawer is an excellent solution for all cashier stations: night-time retail stores, gas stations, border crossings, and anywhere else where cashier safety and convenient transaction handling are essential. The lockable cover on the cashier’s side allows the drawer to be secured, preventing any unauthorized access or tampering.

The ~130 mm depth of the transfer chamber ensures easy handling of items such as payment terminals, bundles of cash, A4-sized documents, and other small objects. The bottom of the drawer is lined with contoured stainless steel, which facilitates the smooth transfer of documents or cash.
